Canada's Sports Hall of Fame is committed to protecting your privacy. In visiting this website you do not have to provide any personal information to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame such as your name, mailing address or email address unless you need to register for an event, educational material or purchase an item. The personal information requested is necessary to process your order. Canada's Sports Hall of Fame complies with Canada's privacy act. General Terms and Conditions for Collection of Personal Information
Personal information is collected by Canada's Sports Hall of Fame (CSHOF) only if you have willingly provided it to us. The web-sever of CSHOF automatically records the IP addresses of all the visitors that visit this site. This does not provide the Hall with any information that would personally identify you as a user-and is meant for statistical purposes only. The information recorded by CSHOF allows the Hall to aggregate data to better view how visitors are using the CSHOF website in regards to database maintenance, network operations and content management.
The Hall will record your email address should you choose to email us, submit a registration form or make a purchase or donation to CSHOF. The personal information that you provide will allow the Hall to properly process any transactions, orders or forms. The Hall may need this information to correspond with you to verify or confirm any electronic submissions you make on Canada's Sport Hall of Fame website.
